LOL!!! Did I get your attention? Ok, first I want to say that I have had so much support from all of you who read this and the forums…I can’t thank you enough, and you know who you select few are, that have come to help me in my time of need. I love all of you so much. Things are looking up. We are not moving after all, so all the stress of looking for a new apartment is behind me. We just decided to renew our lease for another year. It’s more cost-effective, and our rent isn’t going up $100 like we though…only $30, so that’s good. And our roommate has agreed to start kicking in more that before for the other bills, so that’s going to help A LOT! Plus, we just found out at work that our budget was approved for raises accross the board of 4%! Which is pretty good! It’s adds up to about $100 more a month for me…and we all know how that extra $100 a month helps!

I finally feel in control again after a bit of bad luck. I’m still trying to get National Cash Advance to refund my money. After I filed a complaint against them through the BBB, they claimed that they had “no record” of me or me having an account with them. When I faxed them and the BBB copies of my bank statement with the debits from them, they responded, “Ms. C****** must have our company confused with another loan company…” blah blah blah… “our debits are not listed under [whatever]…” and gave some other company’s name or something. So, I faxed back several correspondance from them, with the same address and phone number as on the letter they sent me through the BBB…so we’ll see how they weasel out of that one!

Oh yeah…and my boyfriend won tickets to see Def Leppard and Journey tonight, so we’re going…I’m SOOOO Excited! Pour some sugar on me baby! Woohoo!

Ok, so, it’s been 3 months since I’ve been with T&C. 2 months since I’ve dealt with these people. And they continue to haunt me!

I went to put gas in my car this morning before work…and my debit card was declined! I KNOW I had AT LEAST $50 in there last night, because I withdrew $20 at the ATM. So, I went into my bank account, and there was a debit on it for $63.95 to my OLD account that I had closed when I signed up with T&C. There was a strange debit on that account back in April for $60. So, I called the bank, and they said that had been debited out on 4/21 from DMS Marketing (aka PD6 Ventures, aka Express Cash)!

Well, they were the ONLY PDL I had that continued to refuse my consolidation with T&C, but eventually agreed about a month ago. I had no idea they took out that last $60 payment, because I thought my BoA account was closed. But it apparently wasn’t…and that was not their fault really because the account DOES take 30 days to COMPLETELY close out. So, since the other PDL’s were willing to work with T&C, they didn’t try to debit it again…but DMS DID!

So, now my current checking account is overdrawn because, since that $60 was debited, and I didn’t know about it, because I though the account was closed, I never paid the bank for that overdrawn amount. So, today, they debited from my good account, and now I’m overdrawn.

I don’t get paid until the 31st. I don’t what I’m going to do. I now have NEGATIVE money in my account. I could sell back some of my books for my classes I’m taking, but I need them for class. Maybe I can post like crazy on DebtCC for the next few days and get paid from there. I’m losing it today. I haven’t felt stress like this in months. I just had to borrow $100 from my mom to pay my light bill before getting disconnected last week. And she’s still recuperating from the heart attack, so I can’t ask her for more money (that she doesn’t really have)…she will only worry.

So, now I have paid DMS a total of $300 on a $200 loan, and all the letter in the world would not get them to agree to settle my account back in May, so I doubt it would work now. The crazier thing is that they kept claiming that I owed them…but the debited my account on 4/21, and the last emails with them I have are from 5/5! They were still claiming to have “not received my last payment” 2 weeks after they got it! AHHHHH!!!

I’m drowning…please help! I felt wonderful yesterday, and now it’s gone…

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got in to Graduate School. I am starting in the fall, but I got special permission to start classes early, so I’m actually currently enrolled in my first class this Summer!!

I am so excited about this. I feel like things are falling into place in my life and I am starting to get somewhere. I am in the process of looking for a better paying job, now that I have my BA degree. So, maybe I can get things paid off faster.

I want to thank everyone in the DebtCC family, because I KNOW that without all of you, I would not have this new found confidence and sense of stability.

Hey everyone! I’m baaack! Well, Las Vegas was definitely awesome. We saw 4 shows, all very awesome! Carrot Top, The Price is Right Live, The Amazing Jonathan, and others. I won 1,000 comp points on the Price is Right, so that was cool. We got a great buffet discount at the Paris hotel for it! Yummy!

Ok, so I didn’t gamble much…PROMISE! I broke even just about every day I was there, only gambling $20-$30 each day, so that’s good. THEN, on Thursday, I had more cash than expected left over, so I put in $40, and lost it all! But then, waiting at the airport to leave, I decided to give it one more shot, so I put $10 into a nickel machine, and WON $100!!!! So, smartly, I stopped, ending up about $60 ahead! WooHoo!!!

We ate some fabulous food, and did a very small amount of souvenir shopping…but mostly just walked around, sightseeing and things like that. It was so great, and I really needed it.
